Gretna has an excellent school system led by a fantastic staff from administration right down to the teachers, custodians and cafeteria workers. Over the last few years Gretna has held the designation of having the best student achievement scores in the state on standards testing. Gretna Public schools truly had a no child left behind mentality long before it was the national buzzphrase. Every student is important to them and they work hard to make sure that no child falls through the cracks.

How do I join the Gretna Area Chamber of Commerce?

Any business located in the Gretna School district is eligible to me a member of the Gretna Area Chamber of Commerce. Application may be made by submitting an online application found at the join the chamber link on this website. Following receipt of the application and the associated dues payment the application will be sent to the Board of Directors for approval.

The Chamber works to promote the local businesses. This is done through a variety of means including this website, a chamber directory published each year, a one sheet listing of chamber member businesses, an annual business fair in addition to a number of other activities.
