Thank you for your interest in the Gretna Area Chamber of Commerce.

There are two types of Membership available:

Associate Membership: Any non-profit organization located in the greater Sarpy County area having an interest in supporting the Gretna Area Chamber of Commerce is eligible for an Associate Membership. An Associate Member shall not have the right to vote or sit on the Board of Directors of the Gretna Area Chamber of Commerce. The Board will review all applications and accept the applicant as an Associate Member if the requirements are met. No registration fees or membership dues shall be charged to an Associate Member/Members. Registration shall be done on an annual basis. In order to remain an Associate Member of the Corporation, each Associate Member must register annually. No membership shall be transferable or assignable. Business Membership: Membership is open to all businesses located in the Gretna School District.

Gretna Chamber Member Benefits

• A free listing in our annual Chamber directory, which is distributed to all new residents, to customers and businesses who make an enquiry through the Chamber, during our annual business fair and other events. In 2009 several thousand directories were distributed. The directory is available to customers at many business locations. This directory is very popular amongst the public in Gretna, since it is the only consolidated business search tool for the local Gretna community. This directory is one of the most valuable resources the Chamber has to offer for promoting your business.
• Gretna Chamber Gift Program - Participate in our closed loop Gift Card Program for Chamber Members only. Low cost program at $5/month, .18 cents per transaction, and only a $50 one time set up fee. With this program your business will receive advertising and exposure to the Gretna Community. The Chamber will periodically advertise this card throughout the year. There is a page on the Gretna Chamber Website dedicated to Gift Card Participants.
• The Annual Chamber Business Fair is a great way to get public exposure for your business. This event also includes the Taste of Gretna.
• Monthly Chamber Luncheons which feature networking opportunities. If you would like to address our membership as a speaker please let us know. New speakers are always welcome.
• A free listing on our chamber website www.gretnachamber.com. The website has grown into a popular business search tool for the community.
• Free Parade Entry in the Annual Gretna Days Parade.
• New and expanded businesses will receive a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, which will be publicized in the local newspapers and our website.
• Publicity and advertising opportunities through program and event sponsorships and/or through volunteering. One event example would be Gretna Days.
• The Gretna Chamber provides the avenue to get more involved with the community by joining a Chamber Committee. These committees have an active role in the development of our fast growing community.
• The Chamber Annual Banquet includes the Annual Report, it is also an opportunity to network and vote for new board members. Enjoy the food and entertainment.
• The Gretna Chamber will provide exposure for Chamber Members as well as the community by participating in area Business Expos.

• Fill out our online application and check the appropriate box for the type of membership.
• Annual dues investment is $125 and this amount is prorated each quarter (see payment instructions below). Associate Membership is free.
• All applications are reviewed monthly by our board and you will be notified of your acceptance or contacted if additional information is needed.

The benefits to joining/renewing in January is the free listing in the Gretna Chamber of Commerce Directory that is printed annually and the opportunity to purchase ad space in that publication. For instance, if you join April - June the dues would be $93.75, July - Sept the dues are $62.50 and October - December dues are $31.25. The Gretna Chamber must receive your dues payment before your business membership will be activated and for your chamber benefits to begin.
